Photographs, wood, colored concrete, plaster, sound: rubbing of flagstone
10 x 7 x 1,5 m
The visitor walks over 700 patches of colored concrete, curved on their backside. Patches rubbing produce various sounds, depending on each person’s corpulence and attitude. The instability leads visitors to become aware of their own presence. It develops their sensory acuity and allows them to question their perception of space, objects and images. Tow under-spaces, at the center, keep the traces of the movement of objects in time.
« Move a piece of furniture from your daily life and you will then become aware of the space it used to occupy.» KB
